The Minister of Youth, Gender Sport and Culture (MYSC), Tumiso Rakgare, has sent a warning to the Botswana Motor Sport (BMS) instructing them to put their house in order. Rakgare was speaking during an appreciation dinner for Ross Branch after his second place finish at the Dakar Rally 2024.

“Motor Sport, we cannot ignore that your house is not in order. Do something about that as a matter of urgency.

There have been so many concerns from sport lovers; we have been reading from newspapers that sporting codes such as motor sport, chess, volleyball amongst others are having issues. We cannot be happy when things like that happen. Sponsors cannot associate with you when your things are not in order.
