Gloria Majaga will this afternoon compete in the women’s T100m final. Majaga who holds a Personal Best (PB) of 13.12 seconds, will be running from lane eight. Bonkamile Bankaetse with his guide, Thuso Baleseng will line up in the men's T11 400m semi-final. Bankaetse qualified for the semi-final after clocking a Season's Best (SB) of 54.50 seconds. The team manager, Monty Ratlou told Mmegi Online that it is first day of competition and they have made it to the semi-final. "We are still to see what happens at the final of T13 100m in the evening. So the performance is impressive," Ratlou said. Paralympic Sport Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) has sent a team of eight athletes to the competition that ends October 5, 2025.
