Hurdlers, Victor Ntweng and Kemorena Tisang have progressed to the 400m semi-finals at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Ntweng qualified in style, clocking a new Personal Best (PB) of 48.54 for a third position finish. Olympic champion, Rai Benjamin won the heat in 48.15. Tisang made it to the next round as the next fastest after clocking 48.72, finishing the race in position five. He was in the same heat as world champion and world record holder, Norwegian, Karsten Warholm. The semi-finals are scheduled for Thursday.
