Ntweng Olympic journey ends

Botswana 400m huddler, Victor Ntweng's journey at the Paris 2024 Olympics has come to an end after he finished third in his repechage round this afternoon.

Ntweng crossed the line in 48.88 in the men’s 400m huddles and did not progress to the semi-finals. He is the second huddler to represent Botswana at the Olympic Games after Wilfred Kareng who competed at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. Ntweng's failure to proceed means the country's hunt for a first medal at this year's tournament continues. Tonight, three 400m runners, Leungo Scotch, Collen Kebinatshipi and Bayapo Ndori are in action in the semi-finals.
