PALAPYE: Newly elected Township Rollers chairperson, Nelson ‘Shakes’ Onkabetse, says the incoming executive committee will continue with efforts to secure an investor for the club. He was voted to the chairmanship position during a Special General Meeting held at Desert Sands Hotel here on Saturday.

The meeting followed the resignation of the committee then led by Phempheretlhe Bafana Pheto after mounting pressure from club members.

The outgoing executive was criticised for presiding over one of the most difficult financial periods in Rollers’ recent history.
