Mares’ keeper leaves TS Galaxy for Zambian side

Mares’ goalkeeper Lesego Moeng has ended her stay with South African elite league side TS Galaxy and moved to Zambian outfit ZISD FC.

Moeng joined Galaxy at the start of last season on a one-year contract from Namibian club FC Ongos.

The former Security Systems and BDF XI shot stopper now heads north on a short-term deal with the Zambian side, marking her third stint in African leagues after spells in Namibia and South Africa following her departure from Botswana in 2024. Speaking to MmegiSport, the player’s representative, Katlego Maphorisa of Orlange Sports Management, confirmed that Moeng has already left for Lusaka to complete the move.
