Mamaloukos wins Khawa Dune challenge

KHAWA: Local biker, Kosmas Mamaloukos proved his mettle over the weekend as he clinched victory in the Khawa Dune Challenge senior bikes category, completing the demanding five laps in an impressive time of two hours, nine minutes and 20 seconds.

The annual Khawa Dune challenge held in the vast sand dunes attracted motorsport enthusiasts from across the country and beyond. This year's edition was organised by the Botswana Off Road Racing Championship (BORRC).

In the tough terrain of the dunes, Mamaloukos showcased sheer endurance and skill, tackling the steep dune climbs, sharp turns, and sandy stretches with remarkable control.
