Philemon Makwengwe has reportedly resigned as TAFIC coach in a shocking move as the team has performed well under his watch.

Makwengwe first made his intention to leave on Wednesday after TAFIC narrowly lost to Jwaneng Galaxy.

He would repeat the same sentiments after the weekend draw against Orapa United. On Saturday reports emerged that he is set to join struggling Morupule Wanderers. The club has refused to comment on the developments and it is unclear if there are efforts to convince Makwengwe to stay.
