He has been one of the highly rated players in the local league for close to a decade now but Omaatla Kebatho has never won the Botswana Premier League golden boot.

His chase for the big prize has been like a hunt for the Holy Grail. The 29-year-old burst on to the scene with Sankoyo Bush Bucks after a stint with ECCO City Greens where he was a fringe player.

The Orapa United marksman’s moment to step in to the spotlight was with Sankoyo Bush Bucks. The bulky forward enjoyed his first season with the club in the top flight and his goal-scoring exploits got him into the Zebras setup for the first time.
