In a surprising twist, Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) interim committee public relations officer, Moses Tubego has tendered his resignation barely a month into the position.

In a brief letter addressed to interim president, Keorapetse Mogopodi, Tubego appreciated the experience he had gained during his time as part of the committee. Tubego chaired a recent Special General Meeting (SGM) where a motion of no confidence was passed against the Mpho Bakwadi-led executive committee. Tubego was absent during a press conference addressed by the interim committee this morning at Yarona Country Lodge in Mogoditshane. His resignation was not mentioned by the interim president. Tubego went to the extent of closing the media WhatsApp group which gave regular updates on the association's activities. Efforts to contact Tubego were fruitless as his phone was not going through.
