The Botswana Football League (BFL) refers to it as the Botswana Public Service College (BPSC) Stadium but Gaborone United says it is the Gaborone United Stadium
MmegiSport sought clarity from BFL chief executive, Bennett Mamelodi who indicated that the facility is the BPSC Stadium. However, GU director, Nicholas Zakhem said it is their stadium for the duration of the lease. "It is the Gaborone United football ground. The land belongs to BPSC and we have a lease for it with full rights to develop, name, and rename it as we wish," he said.
Zakhem said they have written to the BFL, requesting them to acknowledge the name change, as the Premier League office has continued to refer to the facility as the BPSC Stadium in its fixture list.
