Ookeditse Malesu’s ambition of being president of the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) was dealt a blow for the second time over the weekend. But giving up is something that does not exist in his vocabulary, as he still wants to challenge for the position once again.

Malesu received one vote during the BNOC board elections where Tshepo Sitale emerged as the victor, scooping 20 votes followed by Yarona Sharp who was voted by nine delegates.

Following the polls, Malesu told Sport Monitor that for now leaders of sport have spoken.
