After a turbulent start to life in the Debswana First Division South league, Extension Gunners have parted ways with coach, Daniel 'Chico' Nare.

The last straw was the 3-0 defeat which the team suffered at the hands of City Polar at the weekend.

"Extension Gunners Football Club officially announce that Mr Daniel 'Dance' Nare has resigned from the club with immediate effect. We thank Mr Nare for all the services he has rendered to Extension Gunners Football Club and wish him all the best," a brief statement from the club reads. Nare leaves Gunners a distant seventh, with 18points from 15 games, trailing leaders, Young Stars by 13 points. The former Premier League side's chances of bouncing back to the top flight are all but over, amid reports some players have gone AWOL.
