Extension Gunners’ promising start to the 2025-2026 FNB Premiership season has taken a nasty turn.

The Lobatse side received a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Morupule Wanderers at the GU Stadium on Saturday evening, leaving them sitting in the relegation zone. The defeat was Gunners’ fourth of the season from just eight games. They remain winless in their last three outings. Currently sitting 14th, they are just two points shy of safety.

Off the pitch, financial constraints continue to dog the club following their split with businessman Chief Ally Kgomongwe in late September.
