Gaborone United (GU)’s head coach, Pontsho Moloi has said his side is ready to begin the football season as the Reds start the CAF Confederation Cup adventure on Saturday.

The Reds, together with league champions, Jwaneng Galaxy, will return early to competitive football with the CAF inter-club competition assignments coming this weekend.

GU face ELGECO PLUS of Madagascar in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round at the National Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Moloi’s side concluded pre-season preparations on Saturday at the VTM Pre-Season tournament held at the VTM Arena.
