League champions, Jwaneng Galaxy are taking a day off from the Botswana Premier League (BPL) duties as they turn their attention to the Champions League group stage fixtures. Galaxy kick-start proceedings with a tricky away tie against Morocco's Wydad Athletic Club (also known as Wydad Casablanca).

The two teams will clash late tomorrow evening at the Grand Stade De Marrakech, Morocco. The Galaxy Stars find themselves amongst the top 16 in Africa's elite inter-club competitions. The team's head coach, Morena Ramoreboli will be looking to better the single point Galaxy won the last time they played in the CAF Champions League group stages in the 2021-2022 season.

The team will make their fourth trip to North Africa and is eyeing a change in fortunes. In their previous three visits to North Africa to face opponents from Algeria and Tunisia, Galaxy conceded 11 times and scored on three occasions. However, this season the team look better defensively having let in just three games in four preliminary rounds games. Their defence will face a difficult test on Saturday. Wydad has found the back of the net five times in the African Football League. The team plays a fluid counter-pressing style of football and could provide all sorts of problems for the local boys. WAC's Adil Ramzi has an abundance of international talent in his squad, which could work against Galaxy.
