Football in Botswana is getting a strong boost, not just on the pitch, but also in shaping stories that shape the game. This was highlighted on Wednesday during the FNB Premiership Media Engagement held at Avani Gaborone Hotel & Casino.

Premier League title sponsors, FNB Botswana, in partnership with the Botswana Football League (BFL), emphasised integrity, quality journalism and collaboration as cornerstones of a thriving football ecosystem. FNBB public relations and communications manager, Boga Chilinde-Masebu, told the gathering the importance of proper storytelling in the development of the local league.

“We want to encourage you to tell stories that build the game. It is players, administrators, and communities. Embrace accuracy, context, and public insights, because the narratives you shape protect football and elevate it to its true value," she said.
