Diteemane shine abroad as BTTA gears up for Grand Finale

The Botswana’s Phoenix Assurance Super League will take a temporary break as the Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) gears up to host the annual Phoenix Assurance Independence Grand Finale at Botho University Multipurpose Hall on September 30.

The tournament promises a showdown for honours across senior and junior categories, including men’s and women’s singles, doubles alongside mixed doubles events. The break in the league comes hot on the heels of an inspiring performance by league stars,Tshepiso Rebatenne and Tshireletso Samuel, at the Angola Independence tournament.

Both players translated their sizzling domestic form into spectacular runs at the continental event, although they fell just short in their respective finals.
