Zebras’ midfielder, Mothusi Cooper is reportedly pushing for an exit from Zambia’s Lusaka Dynamos after a dispute with the club. Cooper joined the ‘Elite’ in January on a two-year deal from Township Rollers.

The 24-year-old reportedly pocketed $25,000 (approximately P250,000) as a signing on fee while he was promised a salary of $5,000 (P50,000). But just over six months with the club, he has reportedly handed in a transfer request. The player has been a subject of interest from clubs abroad from his time at Rollers, and he is reportedly eyeing a move to a bigger club or league, as per Mmegi Sport sources.

The player’s agent, Bakang Moipone of Extreme Sports was coy with details when quizzed by this publication. He, however, said there is a dispute with the club over some content of the player’s agreement and the matter has since been reported to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ). “To be frank with you, we have a dispute with the club and it has since been reported to the law, in this case, the court is the FAZ since Cooper plays there. I would not like to go into details.
