Title winning Zimbabwean coach, Rahman Gumbo passed on yesterday after collapsing in Palapye on Thursday.

Multiple sources said Gumbo was rushed to Francistown for treatment but succumbed to what is suspected to be cardiac arrest. Gumbo had just been relieved off his duties at Palapye side, Morupule Wanderers this week. He is a league title winner with Township Rollers and was also highly regarded in his homeland where he enjoyed a stellar career as a player and coach. The 59-year-old made it abroad during his playing days when he had a stint in Cyprus.
