Chess president ready for peace talks

The Botswana Chess Federation (BCF) president, Mooketsi Segaise has expressed a desire to smoke the peace pipe with erstwhile vice president-technical, Dr Moses Khutsafalo.

Khutsafalo resigned from his position last week Friday after serving a suspension for almost a year. “I was hoping we could smoke a peace pipe but I have not lost hope yet,” Segaise said when asked if the resignation came as a surprise.

Segaise said he would get the crux and fully understand everything at the engagement. Speaking to this publication, Khutsafalo wondered where Segaise has been all along. “At this point? Where was he all along? I am sorry, my peace and sanity come first,” he reacted to the suggestion of peace talks. Khutsafalo said Segaise has never communicated with him.
