Top local referee, Joshua ‘Sprinter’ Bondo has missed out on the 2022 FIFA World Cup set for Qatar later this year.

Bondo has been one of the leading referees in the continent having handled some of the biggest matches. He made lasting impressions at this year's Africa Cup of Nations finals as well as CAF inter-club competitions.

Bondo was one OF 10 referees who handled the African qualifiers of the tournament and was tipped to make the Qatar trip.
