BoBA hosts Jwaneng interclub tournament

Following a successful elective Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Botswana Boxing Association (BoBA) has now set its eyes on the coming interclub tournament.

The competition will be hosted on August 30 at the Jwaneng Mining Giants Club. Local clubs, including DTCB, Mafika, BMC, Jwaneng Mining Giants Boxing club, SSSKB, UB Boxing Club, and Master Fitness, are amongst clubs expected to battle it out during the competition. The interclub tournament will start at noon and is expected to draw much anticipated attention from boxers and boxing fans from across the country. Speaking to MmegiOnline, BoBA publicity secretary, Kabelo Seleka, emphasised the importance of the tournament. "This tournament is more than belts; it is more about showcasing the best of local boxing," he said.
