The inaugural Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) Indoor Sport Festival that was held at Royal Aria indoor hall cost P300, 000.

The funds went towards hiring of the facility, branding and other logistics. The festival was attended by volleyball, judo, netball, table tennis and basketball codes. BNSC director of sport development, Peaceful Seleka, told Sport Monitor that it is time for BNSC to collaborate with facility owners for ease of accessibility and usage by National Sport Associations (NSAs) in a more sustainable way.

He stated that it is going to take a long time for the BNSC to set up its own facilities due to the prevailing financials challenges.
