BNOC election dispute heads to court

Botswana Wrestling Federation (BWF) president, Moagi Sharp, has gone to court to challenge the outcome of the Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) elections, which were held last week on Saturday. Sharp filed an urgent application at the Gaborone High Court yesterday, through his lawyers, in a bid to nullify the BNOC Board elections results.

In the court filings, he claims there were mismanagement, rigging and the undemocratic processes.

Sharp contested for the position of senior vice president position where he received seven votes while the winner, Michael Moroka got 23.
