The Botswana Football Association through it’s National Referees Committee has taken a decision to suspend four of match officials who officiated the Premier League match between Security System and Gaborone United on Saturday.

The suspension will run for 6 weeks, the BFA announced today through a press statement. The suspension is a result of contravening law 3 of the laws of the game which regulates substitution procedures. The officials failed to realise that Systems had made an irregular substitution. Furthermore, the BFA announced the suspension of three match officials for their frequent late arrival at Premier League matches.
