The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) vice president-administration, Oabona Theetso, has survived a motion of no confidence after affiliates plotted his ouster last weekend. An audio recording circulating on messaging app, Whatsapp, details plans to remove Theetso.

The audio clip also lays a plan to remove the BAA general manager, Pinkie Wilson, when her term expires in July.

According to the audio, Sportsview Athletics Club chairperson, Glody Dube, will replace Wilson as general manager when the time comes.
