Amos safe amid Iran turmoil

Nigel Amos, who recently assumed a role as Iran middle distance coach, has said he is safe amid the ongoing protests in the Middle East country that have left scores dead.

The 2012 800m Olympic Games silver medalist relocated to Iran last year after completing a coaching course in Zimbabwe.

In a brief interview with this publication, Amos said he was safe while expressing sympathy with those affected by the unrest.
