The Zebras continue their preparations for the two-legged 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Mali when they take on Tanzania's Taifa Stars at the Molepolole Sports Complex tonight. Kick-off is at 7:00 pm.

The team has been in camp since August 5. Tonight's match follows other friendly matches among them the 3-1 loss to Kenya as well as three-nations tournament held at UB Stadium during the President's Day holidays. They finished first in that tournament.  Tanzania's match is the last before the team leaves for a training camp in South Africa from August 19-26. The boys will have another camp in Kenya from August 27 to September 7. Tonight's game will give coach Stanley Tshosane an opportunity to asses the level of fitness of some of his key men who have not been in action for a while.

Tricky winger, Phenyo Mongala has been looking for a club ever since his loan spell with Bloemfontein Celtic expired at the end of last season. He however, remains one of the Zebras' players who can unlock any defence on their day. Tshosane should be happy that options upfront are beginning to widen. The team has been heavily relying on Jerome Ramatlhakwana for goals but Tebogo Sembowa has recently showed glimpses of what made him one of the key men in the famed Under-23's Dream Team coached by David Bright.
