Only four of the Zebras 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals team have been called to report for the senior national team training camp. The list of 25 is virtually a new team with most of the players yet to have their first appearance in national colours.
Botswana Football Association (BFA) technical director, Sonnyboy Sethibe on Friday said the list represents a select group of the Under-23s who could be promoted to the senior team by coach Stanley Tshosane, rather than the start of the process of overhauling the squad that experienced a baptism of fire at the January 21- February 12 AFCON finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea where the Zebras made their debut.
