BLANTYRE: The Zebras overcame the illness of two key players to force a 1-1 draw against the Flames of Malawi to consolidate their 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Group 11 leadership at a packed Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre yesterday afternoon.

The Zebras suffered a set-back hours before the match when Phenyo Mongala was ruled out with an upset stomach. Ofentse Nato and Mompati Thuma too fell ill but managed to play.

The Zebras went in front through Jerome Ramatlhakwana's opportunistic 65th minute header before Dave Banda equalised for the hosts 10 minutes later.
