FRANCISTOWN: Tasc's newly hired coach Christopher Chibuye from Zambia has emphasised the importance of youth development in football for elite league teams to excel.

Speaking to local journalists for the first time at a press conference held at Ntshe conference room in Francistown last Friday, the Zambian coach stated that the more a club invests in youth development the higher the chances of it becoming a powerhouse.

The conference was organised by Tasc mainly to officially introduce its new technical staff and put forward the club's vision for the future. Chibuye noted that football results come only when junior structures are effective. "Investing in the youth will pay handsome dividends. Football is dynamic, players of tomorrow are made today," said the former Zambian national Under-17 coach. He is not only a coach but an instructor as well.
