Young Zebras proceeded to the second round of the 2011 All-Africa Games qualifiers after holding a stubborn Swazi Under-23 side to a 1-1 draw in the second leg tie played at the UB Stadium on Friday afternoon.

The result mean that the Young Zebras proceed with a 2-1 aggregate score after winning the first leg 1-0 a fortnight ago in Mbabane, Swaziland. The two sides started the match on a high note, searching for an early goal in order to settle into the match. The hosts were the first to fire at goal as early as the seventh minute when returning striker Mogakolodi 'Tsotso' Ngele eluded his marker inside the 18-yard area but shot straight at Swazi goalkeeper Ncamiso Dlamini. Three minutes later, Young Zebras keeper Kabelo Dambe made an excellent save to deny Swazi captain Welile Maseko a chance to give his side the lead. Maseko had hooked a high ball after realising that Dambe had left his line, but the young shot-stopper retreated on time to parry the ball over the bar.
