The ladies rugby team was humiliated by Namibia 31-10 during the 15s tournament that was played over the weekend but coach Munya Mhonda said despite the loss, the team showed great courage and played hard until the final whistle.

He revealed that the team struggled to adapt to the 15s laws.He observed that most of the players felt threatened by the size of the stadium that they were using and the high number of spectators that attended the tournament. Mhonda felt that the players were fit and that they were only let down by the execution of the game plan. He noted that they needed to be clinical. He stated that the tournament was a great exposure for the national team.

"I am confident that if the tables were turned around and we were to host the Namibians on home ground, it would be a different result and score line.
