Women's bowls team selected

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The Botswana women bowls team to represent the country in the bowls' championships scheduled for New Zealand has been selected.

The five-person team was selected after the weekend's Botsogo Tuli Bowls Championship held in Selebi-Phikwe to represent Botswana in the World Bowls Championships from January 12-27.

The largely experienced side has got a new cap in Tshenolo Maloisane. Botswana Bowling Association (BBA) spokesperson Lebo Mascarenhas, who has competed at the highest level and won numerous awards locally, will lead the team to the world championships.
