Women football holds AGM

Women Football Commission (WFC) holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) over the weekend where new office bearers will be elected. Sports Correspondent MOSAH MOKGANEDI spoke to some stakeholders ahead of the meeting

Prisons manager, Dikakanyo Mmolawa, said members of the current committee members are coaches hence their decisions in most cases were unfair and biased. His wish is that the committee should be led by neutral people. He suggested that coaches wishing to stand for positions in the commission should resign from coaching. He said that people who do not hold any positions in the teams should stand for elections.

A senior player with Double Action, Gaoletlhoo 'Ronaldo' Nkutlwisang believes the commission led by Agreement Pudi has done its best under the circumstances. However she is not satisfied with certain things. She expected that the commission would have found a sponsor for the league by now. She is disappointed that the commission failed to facilitate the formation of a national team. She suggests that some members of the commission should be retained during the elections.
