The sponsors of the be MOBILE Premier League have said they are not worried by the suspension of BMC from the competition. "We consider it a purely an administrative issue between the Botswana Football Association (BFA), the Botswana Premier League (BPL) and the BMC. It does not affect the product we sponsor," BTC communications manager, Golekanye Molapisi told Mmegi Sport yesterday.

He said they would have been concerned if the matter led to a halt of league activities. BTC sponsors the Premier League through its cellular phone service provider, be MOBILE.

Molapisi said their contract with the BPL does not include the number of teams but instead specifies the number of games (60) to be televised per season. He said it is entirely up to the BFA or the BPL to reduce the number of teams.
