BDF VI captain Pogiso Osupile has called on the Botswana Volleyball Federation to make sure that next year, clubs get enough time between tournaments to rest. He said that this year, there was no break between tournaments and this gave players a hectic time.

Osupile said the congestion of tournaments did not give them enough time to prepare for the Zone VI club championships billed for Durban, South Africa next month. He stated that the level of competition has improved in the men's game because unlike before, different teams now compete in the finals.

He lambasted some teams for lack of commitments. He was not happy with the federation's habit of using players as officials. He said even where player-umpires are not biased, losers will always point an accusing finger at them. He alleged that there is favouritism in fixturing.
