The Under-17 girls team lost 1-0 to Morocco in the first leg of the World Cup qualifiers played at the National Stadium on Friday evening.

The team is faced with a mammoth task to overturn the score in the away leg to be played in a fortnight.

It looked a bad night for the local girls as they found themselves on the back-foot from the start.
