Tshosane is not a worried man

BDF XI coach Stanley Tshosane says that after his 1-0 loss to BMC on Saturday, his preoccupation is to prepare his players for the play-offs instead of worrying about the strength of opponents at games.

His team has been struggling upfront despite keeping the best defensive record in the league, second after winners Mochudi Centre Chiefs. BDF XI conceded 28 goals compared to Chiefs' 21 goals against. "I do not care how dangerous my opponents are, what I am going to do now is prepare for the play-offs thoroughly and make sure that we improve on our recent performances which have landed us in this position," Tshosane said.

For the first time in history, BDF XI find themselves in a relegation position, hence the play-offs but Tshosane is optimistic of remaining in top-flight football. "I am not going to panic just because it is our first time, we will go there to play our best football because it would be a shame if BDF XI ends in the First Division, that will not happen while I am still coach here. I am aware of the challenge at hand, but I am confident that my team will deliver," he said.
