Tshireletso leads Top 8 Golden Boot race

The race for the Mascom Top 8 Golden Boot award intensified over the weekend following BDF XI and Gaborone United's (GU) progress to the final.

BDF XI winger, Lemponye Tshireletso, is leading the pack with four goals after netting another goal on Saturday in the 4-2 demolition of Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Against Chiefs, Tshireletso received a cross on the far left and hit a volley giving Chiefs' goalkeeper, Raphael Nthwane no chance. He also scored a goal in the first leg of the semi finals when they defeated Chiefs 4-1 two weeks ago. The other two goals were against BMC in the quarterfinals.
