A FirstDivision South top of the table between Wonder Sportingand Jwaneng Comets ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday at the SSG Grounds in Gaborone.

The two sides are still separated by two points, with Wonder sitting at the top. The visiting Comets took the lead courtesy of a Bobo Motlhalane goal in the 13th minute, but Wonder fought back to share the spoils. The veteran midfielder powered 25-metre drive off a free-kick straight at Jack Legodi in Wonders' goal but the shot deceived the short custodian and dipped in.

Prior to the goal, neither of the two teams had found their rhythm with stray passes characterising play.In a rare attack, a Comets player was fouled resulting in the free-kick that resulted in the goal. After scoring, Comets looked like they would stretch the lead, but were often stopped by Wonder's organised defence led by the outstanding Poloko Khole. The log leaders then took control of the game in the last 25minutes of the first half, creating several scoring opportunities. The equaliser finally came in the 32nd minute through Zimbabwean striker, Mkhululi Moyo.
