Togo clean bowled!

Finest moment
The 54th minute when Zebras' bustling striker, Jerome Ramatlhakwana ran past a static Togo defence to lob the ball over the goalkeeper for the winner.

Finest athlete
Holding midfielder, Ofentse Nato shone like a beacon against Togo on Saturday. The gangly player gave the team shape in the midfield and covered every blade of grass.

Week's disappointment
The country's 800m runner, Onalenna Baloyi for testing positive for a banned substance. Baloyi, who was part of the Commonwealth Games squad, has seen his dream of going to New Delhi, India, shattered. The athlete told the local press that the substance was from an energy drink. But he should have known better before taking a sip. We have seen athletes' promising careers grinding to a halt due to ignorance. As they say, the ignorance of the law is no excuse, and at 26 Baloyi and the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) should be alert to what is banned and what is not. Now his thirst has cost him a shot at a medal in India when precaution would have helped. The other disappointment is the tug-of-war between the Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) and Gaborone Hogs over the release of national champions to compete outside the country. Hogs should respect the BRU as the governing body and know that they have to seek authority from the union to participate in international competitions.
