The agony continues

Until 1995, Lobtrans Gunners' fans were a happy lot. Their club was sweeping every title available and crushing opponents with ease.

However, since the mid-1990s, Gunners has been on a free fall. Nowadays the once dreaded Lobatse giants struggle against almost all opposition. It is best known for surviving relegation by a whisker at the 11th hour. This has affected the supporters who once used victory as a matter of course. They go to games to relax and enjoy themselves but only a few are able to sit in their lounges in a happy state with family members afterwards. At times they have vented their anger on referees whom they accuse of sabotaging their beloved side. But even with the 'help' of referees, Gunners have not delivered. In the process, the team has changed coaches like a tycoon with a good taste for cars.

Every season, they hope for something better but get disappointed. Some fans have started to express displeasure at this state of affairs.
