TASC send Tonota to relegation zone

The defeat means more misery for Tonota who have now been pushed to the relegation zone with eight games remaining.The game was not a walk in the park as the result suggests. Both sides fought likew wounded buffaloes as the relegation battle rages on. TASC stuttered and stumbled throughout the game to gain the breakthrough against a gallant opposition in their quest for three points.

The opening goal came from Tshoganetso Malizimba in the 25th minute following a free-kick. Earlier, Boinyana Galeboe's side had clear chances but failed to score until Malizimba struck. After the goal, Tonota FC launched attacks to equalise.The visitors' quest for a goal put the TASC defence under immense pressure. Finally TASC skipper, Eric Nthoiwa cracked under pressure by a crunching tackle on Thuso Bagai that resulted in a spot-kick.
