Suspended Premier League board chairman Spencer Mmui will have to wait a little longer before he knows his fate with indications that the Botswana Football Association (BFA) disciplinary committee is yet to receive his case.

The DC reportedly has a backlog of cases and is yet to schedule the Mmui hearing. Mmui was suspended together with his fellow committee members - vice chairman Sonny Phiri and former treasurer William Maboane - for alleged abuse of office.

Allegations were that Mmui and Maboane loaned themselves cash advances of P12, 000 and P20, 000 respectively. However, Phiri was reprived by the National Executive Committee (NEC), while Maboane resigned from his position and will no longer face the music. That leaves Mmui, who is presently suspended from all BFA activities, as the only man to appear before the NDC. Acting DC chairman, Tobokani Chilume professed ignorance over the Township Rollers chairman's case saying they were yet to receive it.
