Supporters are to blame for stampede -Molefe

Premier League Committee chairperson, Mike Molefe has laid the blame for last Saturday's unsavoury incidents in Molepolole squarely on the doorstep of the supporters.

Molefe told Mmegi Sport last night that the stampede, which left dozens injured during the match between Township Rollers and Extension Gunners, could have been avoided if fans had behaved well.

"There were two music festivals in Molepolole and clearly some supporters came to the match inebriated. Everything was done above board - tickets were sold in advance and there was adequate security," Molefe said.
