Suarez faces action over 'punch'

Uruguay's Luis Surez is set to face disciplinary action from FIFA after appearing to punch a Chile defender during his country's 2-0 home World Cup qualifier defeat.

Esteban Paredes and Eduardo Vargas gave Jorge Sampaoli's Chile the victory, which takes them up to fourth in the standings - the last automatic qualifying spot for next year's tournament.

Su‡rez, meanwhile, was lucky to stay on the pitch as he appeared to hit out at the face of Gonzalo Jara in the first half during a tussle in the penalty area.
