Students swell cricket development ranks

Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) records reveal that 14,322 students from 258 government primary schools in the country have taken part in this year’s development programme.

BCA development coaches have toured a number of schools in different parts of the country such as Thamaga, Ramotswa, Maun and Chobe conducting coaching clinics and creating cricket awareness.

BCA fixtures and publicity secretary, Sumod Damodar said recently, 678 students from 11 public schools in the Chobe region were added to the programme.
