Striker sues Police XI

Former Police XI striker Steve Bakali has taken the club to court to recover money he is owed. Lawyer Meshack Nyakashwa of Themba Joina and Associates told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the Malawian forward has instructed the law firm to sue Police XI for P40,000.

"Steve has been in the hospital in Jwaneng for four months and he believes that the club should compensate him because he got injured playing for them. We have been trying to solve this problem with Police XI but they do not seem to cooperate.

They have not responded to our letters and we decided to apply for judgement at the Village Magistrates Court," he said.
